Hello! My name is David, and I’m looking for a roommate for my 2 bed/2 bath home in Highland Park, starting October 1st. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. This home was recently renovated and all the finishes, fixtures, and materials are new. It has central AC/heat, as well as a washer/dryer. There is a small garage in the back that can provide a little extra storage if needed. This house and peaceful neighborhood are super charming! The quiet street has a real sense of community and is around the corner from Amara Kitchen and a 5 minute drive from all the restaurants and bars in the heart of the Highland Park (very near Figueroa and York). It’s very close to the 110 and Interstate 5. The common areas (living room and kitchen) are fully furnished and decorated, and I have quite a few plants as well. Of course, I'm open to having some of your furniture in the home as well! A little about me: I’m a very easy-going, kind, respectful, and peaceful roommate. I own an architectural & interior design company. I rent an office elsewhere and only occasionally work from home. I also travel often. Laundry in building. First month, plus one month refundable security. Bedroom Unfurnished, 8x10.5' (84ft²) w/alley-facing window. Electric heater. Huge wall-length closet. One or both closet doors can be removed to open up some extra space if needed. You Financially stable, clean, chill, socially progressive, vaccinated, can stick to a chore schedule. Any gender and orientation welcome. Bring your own bedroom furniture, rest of apartment is furnished. Drawers/cupboards available in kitchen and bathroom, but additional space is limited if you have other furniture to bring. Guests OK with advance notice. ONE tenant only (sorry, no couples or kids). The loft is spacious and furnished with 2 queen size beds. Shared frig for 2 people in spacious kitchen. Pool table. Living space is shared with 40 inch HD TV, leather couch, love seat and easy chair. This is 3 bedroom 3 bath house in upper pioneer next to highway 88. The weather is 90% sunny. We get snow 2-3 times a year. Beautiful!!! Roads are plowed. If you are an outdoorsy person then this is a great place. We do a lot of snow skiing/boarding, nature watching, wine tasting, motorcycle and ATV riding, hunting, kayaking, hiking and biking. We are 1 hour from Tahoe and 2.5 hours from San Francisco and about an hour from Sacramento. This is a very chill place as all previous tenants have expressed. Well educated white collar professional male in 40s. Lived in a custom built 5000sf home on 5 acres. Non Smoker, Like the outdoors. Always lived in my own house. Looking for a mindlike male/female 25-45 roommate to share housing due to downsizing. I am a quite and respectful IT engineer who works from home. Busy quietly working from my bedroom during the week. Sometime relax/socialize on weekends and cook. Have many resources nice things from the old house that I wouldn't mind sharing with ideal roommates. Young at heart and fun loving but balanced. Looking to connect with 1 or 2 mindlike person and setup the right place. Farmington, Avon, Simsbury, West Hartford, East Hartford, Manchester, Bolton, Glastonbury, and all of greater Hartford area is fine.
